The warehouse's property insurance extends a minimum baseline of coverage to goods stored on site, which usually responds for incidents arising from the warehouse's operations or the building itself. For higher-value inventory, that baseline is unlikely to be enough, so we recommend taking out separate goods insurance. Your account manager can introduce you to a third-party insurer; the policy is between you and the insurer, not with Cargoz.

Yes. Site visits are encouraged for customised storage. Your Cargoz account manager arranges the visit, attends with you, and walks through the contract before you commit. There's no pressure to sign on the day.

You sign one contract with Cargoz. We sit between you and the warehouse for the full term. You pay us, we pay the warehouse. One supplier on your books, one number to call when something needs sorting.

Cargoz mediates. If the temperature is off, the access is unreliable, or the handling falls short, you raise it with your account manager. We document the issue, escalate with the warehouse, and credit your account where warranted. You don't fight the warehouse alone.

Yes. Your account manager re-sources within the Cargoz network: more space at the same warehouse if available, or a transition to a different warehouse under the same contract framework. No broker search, no contract restart.

The warehouse is liable to the extent that the damage results from negligence or breach of the storage agreement. Cargoz mediates the claim, documenting the incident, escalating with the warehouse, and pursuing a credit on your behalf where warranted. For higher-value inventory, separate goods insurance is recommended; speak to your account manager before move-in if that's relevant for you.
